Description of Webdate Mobile Service

Webdate Mobile provides access to the full Webdate.com user base in a format optimized for mobile browsers (WAP), as well as in an executable (BREW and J2ME) for some devices. Users can create their own profiles, as well as surf millions of profiles in the Webdate user database, view profiles selected based on matching criteria, view their pictures, send messages, and bookmark profiles for future reference.

The format available for your particular device depends on who provides your mobile phone service (brower or installed), as well as what device you have. Webdate Mobile is available on the following carriers: Boost Mobile, Alltel, AT&T, Sprint Nextel, Virgin, Telus, Midwest Wireless, Western Wireless, U.S. Cellular, Cricket and Verizon Wireless.

Subscribing to Webdate Mobile

No subscription billing will occur until the user in informed of a pending transaction on the mobile device itself. The user must follow instructions on the device to trigger the subscription event and grant full access to the Webdate Mobile application or mobile site. If you are using a mobile browser to use Webdate Mobile, you will not need to subscribe until you choose to a send messages to another user. You must follow the instructions seen on your mobile device to receive access to send messages to other users. Depending on your carrier, you will either subscribe by opting in through a purchase page (direct bill), or by sending a confirmation text message (premium SMS) with the text "webdate sub" to 63636. Simply follow the instruction received in Webdate Mobile after attempting to access the messaging feature to determine your exact subscription process.

Webdate Mobile subscribers will be charged $4.99 per month while the subscription is kept active. This charge will appear on user’s wireless bill or be deducted from a prepaid balance. Standard or other charges may apply, depending on your data plan with your carrier.

Termination and Cancellation of Services

To cancel your Subscription Plan, follow the instructions for cancellation based on how the application was purchased. If it was purchased by clicking on a ‘buy’ button in a mobile web page, you will need to unsubscribe using the area enabled by your provider. This is typically under My Account in your carrier’s web or mobile site page (usually found at the HOME location in your mobile browser). If you installed the application to your device through the phone’s application catalog, you will need to unsubscribe through this same catalog. If you subscribed using premium text messaging, send a text message with the text "STOP" to 63636. The termination shall become effective immediately, but you will still have access to Webdate Mobile until the end of your 30 day subscription cycle.
